Africa's most comprehensive vehicle emissions inspection program
The Regional Emission Inspection Program (REIP) launched in August 2025, in partnership with the Government of Rwanda. We are a technology-driven vehicle emission and mechanical inspection program built to make the world a cleaner and safer place, setting a benchmark for environmental stewardship across East Africa.
From five inspection centres and a fleet of mobile units, REIP delivers advanced, real-time emission detection aligned to proper set standards, OBD diagnostics checks, intelligent vehicle support, and hands-on mechanic training. We are the first program in Africa to include motorbikes in emissions testing.

Maintenance SupervisorFrom the workshop floor to a nationwide program
Elie trained as a mechanic and spent years working on engines before moving into supervisory roles. Today he oversees the systems and equipment that make accurate emission testing possible across our centres, including the preventive maintenance routine that keeps every testing line running reliably.
