Three divisions, one clean-air mission
REIP began on the road, inspecting the vehicles that fill Rwanda's air. Our work now reaches pollution wherever it starts: at the tailpipe, at the factory stack, and at the pump. Each division brings the same technology-driven, accredited approach to a different source of emissions.
Vehicle Emissions Testing
Our founding division. Technology-driven emission and mechanical inspection of cars, trucks and motorbikes at five Automobile Inspection Centres and through mobile units nationwide, delivered in partnership with the Government of Rwanda. Five service lines make up the program:
- Real-time emission detection aligned to proper set standards
- Motorbikes included, a first on the continent
- Every result recorded in a secure central database

Factory Emission Testing
This is a new division addressing ambient air pollution from stationary industrial sources. In partnership with Rwanda Environment Management Authority (REMA), this program will provide the legal and technical basis to enforce emission control systems, at zero cost to the Government of Rwanda.
